“Dog Training Technique”
When you say “sit” does your dog give you that “there’s no way I’m going to do what you say” look? When you’re taking him for a walk does he tug and pull and make you half run to the park? If the answer is “yes” then you need to
learn some dog training techniques. They are harmless and aid free ways to train your dog to listen to what you have to say to him.
There is one dog training technique which I have tried and tested and it is great. It’s called the “Nothing in life is free” technique. It basically works on the fact that nothing is free, your dog has to do something to get something in return. For example if he wants food he has to remain seated until you make his dinner, or if you want to talk him for a walk then he has to lie down until you put his leash and collar on.
These training techniques all are based on the fact that your dog will realise to get what he wants he has to do what you are telling him to do. What if he doesn’t do it? Walk away. Don’t shout at him or keep trying if he doesn’t listen just ignore him and walk away then about 5 minutes later go back and try again. He soon comes to realise that you are in charge and he has to do what you say to get what wants.
When dogs are born they usually have siblings and their mother is the “Leader of the pack”, when a young dog leaves his mother he starts to think that he is free and can do what he wants. When he first joins a family he starts to act dominant. He tries to be leader of the house. You can’t let him gain this position you need to show him through dog training techniques that humans are the head of your house not the dog.

“Dog Training Supply”
Dog training supplies are available in your local supermarket and pet shops. Always choose dog training supply items that are humane and look safe, anything that restricts your dogs breathing or movement is not a good option for training.
Dog training supply stores sell everything for anti bark collars to dog appeasing pheromones! There is always something for every dog at one of these stores and many come highly recommended. If you can’t find anything in your local store the internet offers a vast range of dog training products and will ship to anywhere.
Dog appeasing pheromones are new on the market, they help your dog relax a little which is great because in today’s world there are lots of disturbing noises and smells out there and with a dog’s senses a lot more sensitive than ours they need that extra bit of comfort. There are three different ways to use dog appeasing pheromones and your local dog training supply store should have them.
The three ways are a dog appeasing pheromones diffuser, which works by plugging it into a socket and letting it scent the room like an air freshener. The natural pheromones released will help soothe your dog especially when it comes to things like fireworks noises.
Most dogs hate them and get anxious around them, and the diffuser will help them to stay relaxed. The pheromones also come in a spray which works the same way as the diffuser, the only difference is that you spray the area they will be entering about ten minutes before the enter and the effects should last around one hour to one and a half hours.

Dog Training Schools
Dog training schools are available virtually everywhere! For quite a large fee you can take your dog to a professional training school if you have had no experience with dogs before, of course there are schools available locally and a lot
less expensive!
Not only are dog training schools available locally but also on the internet. Dog training UK is very popular and has some great achievements. They also have a great guarantee for those stubborn dogs: if your dog isn’t obedient at the end of the training session you get every penny back! They claim to be able to teach your dog in only three weeks. I say if they have a guarantee go for it! You can’t loose.
There is quite a lot of controversy about dog training schools, a lot of people think that they are there to rip money of the inexperienced dog handlers, but it is quite the opposite, they need to make money to hire the hall etc. so why not charge? They are there to help inexperienced dog handlers who have got no support from anywhere else. They offer practical solutions and great company. There are other members so you are socialising while you are training what could be better?!
